Friends in a Nairobi living room — one holds the phone to her forehead showing the MBUZI CHOMA clue while the others shout clues.

THE ROOM
IS THE GAME.

Some games have you staring at a screen. This one has you staring at your friends as they try to explain that one word without saying it.

Team Battle starts the party. Split into teams, take turns guessing and pass the phone. Learn it in a minute. Argue about it all night.

HOW WE PLAY

THREE MOVES.
ENDLESS SHOUTING.

Charades unaijua. Now add a phone, a timer and Kenyan things your people actually know.

01
Pick a deck — Animals, Dishi and Matatu Culture packs.

Pick your vibe.

Choose a difficulty and a pack. Want a particular topic? Open the pack and pick a deck. Rahisi is an easy start; Kali ni ya maveterans.

02
A player holds the phone to their forehead while friends give clues.

Phone on your forehead.

Turn the phone sideways so the room sees the word. Your teammates give clues. You guess. They panic. Kila mtu ako ndani ndani ndani.

03
Tilt the phone down for Correct, up for Pass.

Tilt. Score. Repeat.

Down = Correct. Up = Pass. Bring it back to neutral for the next card. When your turn ends, pass the phone.

What if a pack feels too difficult?

Start with Rahisi or jump into Mwanzo · Square One. You can pick a specific deck when you want a particular theme.

Is an account required?

No account is needed to play. Kenyan Charades is intended for players aged 13 and over.
